About this project
My tracks start with an idea and my own material. I write the lyrics, record the samples, and build the rhythm grid and the groove in Ableton. Then the neural net develops that skeleton: it fills in the voice, the instruments and the variations. I direct the process, select the results and decide what becomes the final track.
There is something unsettling and amazing about it at once: hearing the voice of a person who does not exist, but who sounds exactly the way I needed.
